Licio Bruno's career is notable for performances in Opera, Symphonic, Chamber and Oratory, as a singer, scenic director, teacher and vocal consultant. Studied Opera and Symphonic repertoire at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest (1995-1998). Bachelor in singing, by the Brazilian Conservatory of Music, where he was invited to teach later - 2009 to 2014 – he got his Master Degree in Performance - Methodology of Interpretative Practices by PROEMUS –UNIRIO. Professor of the Bachelor of Theater at Casa de Artes Laranjeiras - CAL (Musical Sensitization, Vocal Interpretation and Singing), he also teaches Voice at the Academy Lorenzo Fernandez, RJ. Invited by numerous entities, Bruno performs masterclasses and workshops in Brazil and abroad, with an emphasis on the interpretation of the Opera and Brazilian Song.

Member of the Hungarian State Opera and Guest Singer from 2001 to 2008, he also sang in Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia and Indonesia. In Brazil, the artist stages the main opera houses and concert halls. With more than 70 characters in operas of different authors, periods and styles, Licio Bruno is the only singer to have faced the Wotan/Wanderer of the Wagnerian tetralogy in the history of the Brazilian opera.

Winner of 10 first prizes in national and foreign competitions, the artist received the 2004 CARLOS GOMES AWARD as Best Singer. Bruno celebrated his 25 YEARS Jubilee of career in 2013 performing more than 15 operatic, symphonic and concert performances.

In 2015, Licio Bruno released with the pianist Claudia Marques the CD "Ê vida, ê voz! - Songs by Edmundo Villani-Côrtes", first album integrally dedicated to a collection of songs by the composer. He also received the "Order of Cultural Merit Carlos Gomes", commendation granted by SBACE, SP and also the 50th Anniversary Medal of the Brazilian International Peace Forces of the United Nations - UN, both received due to his relevant services to culture and music.
