The Peak District Music Centres’ bands and orchestras return to the Opera House for their hugely popular annual Gala Concerts. Over 300 of the area’s top young musicians perform well-known classics, movie hits and even a touch of jazz. Renowned for their standards of excellence, the ensembles range from elementary level through to finalists at the National Festival of Music for Youth and winners of the 2009 Classic FM Chamber orchestra Award.
